            Rasa lapar merupakan hasil dari serangkaian pengalaman fisiologis tubuh yang mengarahkan manusia atau hewan mencari makanan. Sementara itu, nafsu makan pada manusia dapat didefinisikan sebagai keinginan untuk makan dan menikmati jenis makanan tertentu. Bagi banyak orang, rasa lapar merupakan perasaan yang biasanya terfokus pada perut (lambung dan atau usus).
